Crenshaw’s Ch Jeep R.O.M: An Icon of the American Pit Bull Terrier

Jeep was raised by James Crenshaw and sold at the age of 2 to his assistant, James Garrett. Jeep won four official fights against the best pit bulls in America:
Ch Jeep titles
Pylant’s Ch Kato (43 lbs) - Won in 28 minutes.
Cooper’s Weenie (43 lbs) - Won in 58 minutes.
Stinson and Stepp’s Black Dog (42 lbs) - Won in 2 hours and 5 minutes.
Ozzie Stevens Ch Homer (43 lbs) - Won in 3 hours.
The fight against Ch Homer, the most famous APBT game dog of the time, was historic. Although Jeep won, Ch Homer is remembered as a worthy adversary with gameness.
Jeep became famous not only for his victories but also for his reproductive capacity. He was bred 360 times, receiving the most important awards in America: P.O.R (Producer Of Record) and R.O.M (Register of Merit). His record was surpassed by his most famous descendant, Garrett’s White’s Tab R.O.M, who was bred 640 times.
